Yesterday, we announced that we are breaking ground on a new operations center in Rogers, Arkansas. The goal of the newest Center of Excellence (COE) is twofold: to support our growing investment in technology and to accommodate our plan as an organization to add hundreds of new employees over the next several years. This will continue to strengthen our ability to deliver comprehensive technology and logistics services to today’s supply chain.
With a deep heritage in Northwest Arkansas, Transplace has continued to expand our presence in the region over the past 15 years. Ongoing investment in this area, which has become a global logistics hub, supports our company’s vision and goals while building value for our customers and creating attractive opportunities for employees.
What Can You Expect at the New Operations Center?
In recent years, Transplace has experienced tremendous growth – both organically and through strategic acquisition – and we continue to invest in our infrastructure, human capital and technology systems in order to drive future growth and deliver greater value to our customers. The construction on the new facility, which will expand our footprint from approximately 80,000 square feet (sf.) to 150,000 sf., is set to begin immediately, and Transplace employees are expected to move in to the new location by early 2021.
What Does the New Facility Mean for Our Employees and Customers?
