Uber Freight strengthens implementation leadership to help customers realize value faster

Former YMX Logistics COO and Kraft Heinz executive brings experience leading corporate supply chains and logistics services to customer implementation

5 October 2026 — Chicago — Uber Freight today announced that Erin Mitchell has joined as Senior Vice President, Implementation reporting to EVP of Operations, Todd Souder.

Based in Chicago, Mitchell will lead customer onboarding for Uber Freight’s Transportation Management business, helping customers put its Transportation Management System (TMS) to work in their operations. Drawing on experience leading corporate supply chains and logistics services, she will focus on simplifying onboarding and helping customers realize value faster.

Implementation connects transportation technology to how customers plan, execute and manage their supply chains—turning capabilities into better service, lower costs and more efficient operations.

“A successful implementation has to reflect how a customer’s business actually works,” said Souder. “Erin understands both what customers expect and what it takes to deliver operationally. Her experience will help us improve onboarding and get customers to value faster.”

Mitchell brings more than 20 years of supply chain and operations experience across Kraft Heinz and YMX Logistics. Most recently, as Chief Operating Officer of YMX, she led acquisition integration, operational deployment and customer integration as the business expanded from two states to 20.

At Kraft Heinz, she led North American warehouse operations, overseeing a $500 million warehousing budget, and network transformation spanning automated distribution centers, technology and organizational change. Her earlier roles included TMS and enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation and leadership across transportation, warehousing and inventory.

“Transportation touches so much of a company’s business—from warehouse costs and service levels to its ability to grow,” said Mitchell. “I’ve led supply chain operations and been responsible for delivering logistics services, so I understand both what customers expect and what it takes to deliver consistently. Uber Freight brings together technology and operational expertise to simplify that complexity.  I’m excited to help customers put those capabilities to work in their business.”
