Deliver 2025, delivered: How people, platform and our network are moving freight forward

Whether it’s tariffs on imported goods, to major rail line disruptions, to geopolitical impacts on shipping lanes, there have been many supply chain disruptions over the last year. But as CEO Rebecca Tinucci said on the Deliver 2025 stage, “disruption isn’t an occasional event anymore—it’s just a reality we must deal with.”

Over 300 logistics professionals gathered on Amelia Island for our annual conference to discuss the impacts, strategies and opportunities to drive outcomes in spite of this reality. On the mainstage, in the expo hall, and during breakout sessions, Deliver 2025 was rife with discussions such as how shippers are leveraging multimodal solutions to streamline operations and reduce network costs; how to safeguard supply chains from disruptions including tariffs and geopolitical dynamics; and why a successful LTL strategy is key to achieving smarter, more flexible freight.

Deliver is an opportunity not only to hear from our customers, but also to create an environment for information-sharing among. We want everyone in the industry to benefit from the rich insights and experience that’s shared at our annual conference. So this year, we’re bringing Deliver 2025 straight to your inbox through our Deliver on Demand webinar series. Sign up to watch recordings of select sessions each week, from October 8 – November 12.

From the mainstage: People, platform, network

At Uber Freight, we’re guided by a single outcome: making our customers’ businesses stronger, more reliable, and more efficient. We do this by staying laser-focused on our three core pillars: people, platform, and our network. Uber Freight leaders took the stage during this year’s general session to share how our team is driving outcomes across each of these pillars.

CEO Rebecca Tinucci shared that our customers have realized $1 billion in transportation cost savings over the past year. That success has been achieved by making smarter decisions in partnership with our team, and by leveraging the power of the Uber Freight platform and network. “Our top priority is delivering meaningful value that goes beyond meeting service and cost expectations,” Rebecca said. “We’re committed to driving strategic impact through thoughtful planning, innovation, and continuous improvement, to make your supply chain best-in-class.”

Tim Hinson, EVP of Transportation Management emphasized that customers want to know they have a team they can trust. “When disruption hits at 3 a.m. and your supply chain needs answers—you don’t need a dashboard. You need the right people,” he said. Our team knows our customers’ businesses inside and out. This relentless focus on our customers has led to a 98% customer retention rate with an average partnership tenure of 8.5 years.

Hany Elkordy, SVP of Last Mile, shared the latest developments in our partnership with Uber Direct to power reliable, final-mile delivery. “This isn’t just the last mile, it’s the final piece in a true end-to-end solution, purpose-built to help you unlock faster delivery, greater agility, and a logistics capability that becomes a competitive advantage for your business,” he said. We’re bringing the precision, power, and scale of the Uber Freight platform all the way to the consumer’s front door.

D’Andrae Larry, EVP of Intermodal, highlighted our growth across truckload, reefer, LTL, cross-border, and intermodal this year, along with a 60% reduction in fraud. This growth shows that the power of our network isn’t just about size, it’s about how we use it. We operate a scaled, flexible, and performance-driven network that adapts with every customer’s business.

“Our teams don’t just provide trucks, containers, or lanes. We provide certainty, agility, and operational excellence,” he said.

Finally, Chairman Lior Ron, announced the Dedicated EV Fleet Accelerator Program with Tesla, designed to make the adoption of EVs both practical and profitable for businesses. With this initiative, we’re aiming to accelerate EV adoption across supply chains, making the journey to a zero-emission future more achievable than ever. Carriers can sign up for the program now.

From the expo hall: New platform features designed for smarter logistics

We work closely with our customers to ensure that our platform consistently delivers the tools, automations, and integrations that simplify work and create meaningful outcomes. At Deliver this year, we announced new capabilities in TMS Financials and Uber Freight Exchange to give shippers greater visibility and control across their supply chain—and featured these new capabilities in our expo hall for attendees to learn more.

  • TMS Financials now gives shippers end-to-end visibility into freight finances, allowing operators to track and manage the full order-to-cash journey directly within the portal.
  • Uber Freight Exchange now includes advanced scenario analysis, enabling shippers to evaluate multiple bid award strategies before finalizing procurement decisions.
  • Agentic AI continues to automate real-world actions across the shipment lifecycle, reducing scheduling times by up to 38%, decreasing overdue load statuses by 15%, shortening delay durations by nearly 80%, and correcting LTL shipment errors for cleaner data and more accurate ETAs.
