Mark your calendars! At the 17th annual Shipper Symposium (May 6-8), we are proud to be hosting transportation experts and leading supply chain professionals from a variety of industries to discuss topics geared toward helping you operate your supply chain more efficiently.
This year, we’re presenting a wide range of unique breakout sessions that will enable you to learn from industry leaders and executives who are impacted by data management, capacity constraints, and economic and regulatory issues that affect the transportation of their goods across the globe. A world of educational adventure awaits you at the Four Seasons Las Colinas this year – which road will you choose?
Here are highlights from a few of the many great sessions:
- Enhancing Visibility to Drive Supply Chain Excellence (9:45 – 10:45 AM): It’s no secret that shippers want to see live performance of what is going on in their network to make data-driven decisions. Through real-time track and trace technology, organizations are able to manage shipments in a single platform to improve on-time delivery and optimize their supply chain based on actionable data and predictive intelligence. Attend this panel, moderated by Transplace’s Steve Barber, to explore the benefits of this technology and learn how to shift from reactive to predictive, and ultimately a proactive approach of managing your network.
- Supply Chain Digitization (11:00 AM – 12:00 PM): The technology landscape is very different today compared to five, or even ten years ago – with blockchain, machine learning, autonomous trucking, Big Data, IoT and other emerging technologies dominating the headlines. Attend this session to hear an honest, hype-free assessment of these innovations from Steve Banker, VP of Supply Chain Services at ARC Advisory Group and Forbes
- Machine Learning for Network Efficiency (1:30 – 2:30 PM): Machine learning is an essential component in future supply chain platforms and will revolutionize every aspect of supply chain management in the coming years. Attend this session to learn about the collaborative initiative and network management team responsible for analyzing network imbalance intel and driving operational efficiencies. Panelists include Amit Saini, Vice President of Enterprise AI Services at Noodle.ai, Matthew Wensing, Founder & Chief Strategist at Riskpulse and Transplace CTO Jim French.
All of this year’s breakout sessions are packed with impactful information you can bring back to your organization to better your supply chain and transportation goals. You can find a full schedule of all of the breakout sessions below.
